Let our experienced instructor’s help you conquer your fears and guide you safely over the edge while you experience the extreme rush of abseiling. With trust overcoming natural instinct, you will be abseiling down the 20 metre high cliffs in no time…

Riverlife abseiling sessions are guided by qualified and experienced instructors. No experience is necessary as each session includes full instruction, a safety briefing and equipment. Participants must be at least 8 years of age and wear and use the safety equipment provided by Riverlife. Safety equipment includes a helmet, harness, rope and gloves.

We did the day abseiling adventure (starts at 3pm) with our two teens. Our guides were Liam and Manni - they were super friendly, and super knowledgeable and made you feel at ease. There’s a good safety briefing, you put on your harness and then walk to the site. We were in a large-ish group and a few people had trouble starting the ascent. Liam and Manni were very skilled at coaxing and coaching you so that you could take those first backwards steps. We had the chance for 3 descents. There was support and encouragement from everyone in the group - it’s a nice vibe!! Beautiful location and view. Abseiling is exhilarating and a bit crazy! Do it! You won’t regret it! And Riverlife was professional and safe. Thanks again to Liam and Manni.

Our family of 10 were given vouchers last Christmas for the Abseiling activity. We finally could be all together on Sunday 17/11. It was the most fantastic family fun experience, made all the more enjoyable by our experienced crew - Sam and Chris, who were safe, knowledgeable and each had a great sense of humour. Very important with my family of comedians! Thank you Sam and Chris and Riverlife for this faboulous day. Highly recommended.

3pm Saturday afternoon, perfect weather, excitement building, can't wait to go. Fantastic afternoon activity and SHAZZY was a great instructor who explained everything very well. I had the best time there and got in more jumps than I expected, and at the end of the session I didn't want to stop. I will most certainly be back for more of that fun. Riverlife staff are so friendly and helpful, I would recommend to everyone to book an adventure with these guys. You won't regret it.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed this experience, it is definitely one to add to the bucket list for those who haven’t done it yet. Our instructor Sam was very helpful and made us feel safe, even though we were going backwards off a cliff. My boyfriend and I didn’t realise we were allowed our phones at the top of the abseil, so Sam offered to take photos on her personal device and send them through to us later. It meant a lot for us to have these memories captured. I would 100% recommend Riverlife to anyone and can’t wait to book more activities through them. All of the staff were very welcoming and fun to be around.

Awesome! Can't wait to go back again. First time abseiling and it was excitingly terrifying knowing I was doing something wrong and was uncomfortable, on the second try ask heaps of questions and it becomes a breeze, the third try I'm bouncing off the cliff. Don't give up after the first try it gets easy and so much fun!

Had a great time despite not starting at the allotted time (told to arrive 20 mins before time but was still waiting 10 mins after time ). The instructors were great with the safety and instructions briefing. Once up at the top more safety instructions and operating instructions clearly given. I had 3 goes and becoming more confident with every go decided to jump my way down which was great fun. Ages of abseilers ranged between 10 and me, 63. Great views of the river and city with very pleasant and helpful staff.

Did Abseiling Sunday afternoon. Fantastic experience. Instructor Broke is an amazing lady, made my experience smooth and memorable. Even the staff are very friendly. They were happy to reschedule in last minute as one of my friend said he can’t make it.

The amazing Brooke took our first ever abseiling tour. She was so friendly, had amazing stories, was knowledgeable and we felt so safe scaling the cliff side, with beautiful views of the water and city. 100% would recommend!
